Cross Check Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2, 2026

These terms govern your use of Cross Check ("the app"), a flight-tracking and crew-meetup app for verified airline crew members. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

Eligibility

Cross Check is intended for active airline crew members (flight attendants, pilots, and related operational crew) and requires employment verification before full access is granted. You must be at least 16 years old to use the app. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit, including your employee number and airline during verification.

Your account

Conduct

You agree not to:

Reports of misconduct are reviewed by admins, and may result in a warning, a ban, or account deletion. See the Privacy Policy for details on how reports and bans are handled.

Meetups and in-person safety

Cross Check helps crew coordinate meetups and connect during layovers, but the app has no control over what happens at an in-person meetup, and cannot verify the identity, intentions, or conduct of any individual user beyond the employment verification step at signup. You're solely responsible for your own safety and judgment when meeting anyone in person, whether or not you met them through this app. Use the same common sense you would meeting anyone new — meet in public places, tell someone your plans, and use the app's block/report tools if something feels off.

Content you submit

You retain ownership of the content you post (meetup descriptions, chat messages, profile photos, shout posts). By posting it, you grant Cross Check a license to store and display it to the other users it's intended for, solely to operate the app's features. You're responsible for what you post, and it must not violate the conduct rules above or anyone else's rights.

No warranty

Cross Check is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that flight data, verification decisions, or meetup information will always be accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cross Check and its operator aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including anything arising from interactions or meetups with other users.

Changes to the app or these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — the "Last updated" date above will reflect any change. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, since the app is operated from the United States.
